Grønnspetten in Gamlebyen

Grønnspetten is a self-service sauna, where you light the fire yourself and regulate the heat throughout your visit. Each session lasts 2.5 hours, giving you time to heat up the sauna, enjoy your sauna session, get changed, and prepare the space for the next group. If the sauna is cold when you arrive, allow up to one hour for it to heat up.

There is a changing room inside the sauna trailer, as well as an outdoor shower for cooling off.

At St. Halvards gate 33, you can also combine your sauna visit with other experiences nearby. You’ll find Leela Yoga, ZZ Pizza and Fuglen Coffee Roasters here. Enjoy a coffee or a pizza while the sauna heats up!
