Sauna in the city’s best backyard!

In the heart of central Oslo, in the atmospheric courtyard at Folk i Storgata, you can combine a hot sauna with a refreshing dip in a cold plunge pool and drinks from the bar.

Book a spot in a shared sauna session, or rent the entire sauna for yourself and your group. Dompapen accommodates up to 10 people, and each session lasts 90 minutes, including changing time.

A courtyard with history

The Dompapen sauna is located in the courtyard of the historic Prinds Christian Augusts Minde building. While city life carries on just outside, you can enjoy both peaceful breaks and social moments in the sheltered courtyard.

About the sauna

Dompapen offers an intimate, urban sauna experience. You can change in a spacious indoor changing room, and drinks (excluding spirits) can be ordered from the bar. Bringing your own food and drinks is not permitted. Please bring valid ID.

Check-in takes place at the bar at Folk i Storgata.

Please bring: Swimwear, a water bottle, two towels (one to sit on and one to dry yourself with), and slippers or shoes for the outdoor area.

The final 15 minutes of your 90-minute session are reserved for changing, so that the next group can start at the scheduled time.

Membership discount

Membership gives you a discount on both shared sauna sessions and private sauna bookings. Your membership must be purchased before booking for the discount to apply.
