Welcome to one of the most unique saunas in town! In our sauna you sit in an amphitheater around the two ovens. The sauna has a cozy atmosphere and it is particularly known for having extra good löyly (steam).

You have access to a cold fresh water shower right outside. You also have access to the toilets at the café Kruttverket, and it is possible to order from the bar directly to the sauna. There are changing rooms adjacent to the sauna.

This sauna is perfect for groups and events. Get in touch by email if you want to rent an event space at Kruttverket in addition, or want us to arrange sauna rituals with for example birch or ice.

You rent the sauna privately for 2 hours, including changing time. It costs NOK 2,200 if you are a member of the association and NOK 2,500 if you are not a member. A membership can easily be purchased here on the website (must be done before ordering if you want the discount).

The sauna is located by the old forest in Svartdalen, near Etterstad/Vålerenga in Oslo. It is easily reached by bus, subway og bicycle from the center.
