Welcome to the mobile sauna Sidensvansen at Grefsenkollen.
The sauna is located right next to the restaurant, at the top of Grefsenkollen, offering a stunning view of the city and the fjord.
The sauna is open from Wednesday to Sunday.

How to get here

A gravel and car road leads all the way to the top.

Bus 56B stops by the restaurant and the sauna on weekends. Throughout the week, you can take bus 56 to Trollveiskrysset (about a 20-minute walk from the sauna) or bus 25 to Grefsenlia (about a 30-minute walk).

From the transport hub Storo, it’s approximately a one-hour walk or a 30-minute bike ride. During winter, there are excellent cross-country skiing trails around the hill.

If you are driving, free public parking is available right next to the restaurant. There is also a large free parking lot about 200 metres below.

The sauna

The sauna accommodates up to 8 people. Inside, you sit facing the spectacular panoramic view.

In the restaurant building (entrance at the back), you will find a spacious changing area with warm showers and toilets. Right next to the sauna, there is also a scenic outdoor shower with a magnificent view.

Please remember to bring swimwear, two towels, a water bottle, and optionally bathing shoes or flip-flops for outdoor use.

If you wish to rent the sauna privately, you will have it for two hours, including changing time.
A membership, which provides discounts on both public and private sauna sessions, can easily be purchased here on our website (this must be done before booking if you wish to receive the discount).

The restaurant

The Grefsenkollen Restaurant, built in traditional log timber, can be seen from large parts of the city.
Here you can enjoy excellent food and drinks, whether for special occasions or a spontaneous everyday treat. The restaurant also hosts numerous concerts and cultural events throughout the year.
